Got Financial Peace?

Starting September 14, our church is hosting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University - a 13-week dvd course to help people understand timeless biblical principles in managing their finances and get out of debt. I’ve become a big fan of Dave Ramsey’s teaching in the last few months and knew we had to make this available to our church.

I’ve taught financial seminars for years and have seen that even though there’s a huge need out there, often people just won’t step up to learn how to make things better. We just completed preview sessions over the past two Sundays and I was hoping for at least 30 people to sign up. Once again, I obviously wasn’t thinking big enough.

As of now, we have almost twice that amount - 57 people are signed up. And the calls are still coming in. I’m pumped! I know what happens when people begin to take charge with a little knowledge and start seeing some financial headway. Marriages get better; people are able to give like they’ve always wanted to; and we break the cycle of being enslaved by runaway debt.

So, if you live in Sheboygan County and want to get in on the fun, check out our registration information. If you don’t live in our area, don’t worry. Financial Peace University is constantly being conducted throughout the country. Check out basic information and find a location near you at Dave Ramsey’s website.

I think this is awesome, Chris and I have been doing Dave Ramsey’s financial peace program for several years now and it has changed our life. We took a hard look at our budget and changed it to the zero balance budget, paid off all of our debt and began saving for a baby and investing. We truly have found peace and our finances are blessed exceedingly above anything we ever could have imagined! Praise the Lord for this program. We talk about our budget every other week to stay on track and I love being in agreement about money! Keep up the good work .

Thanks for the personal endorsement, Lisa. You are financially ahead of probably 90% of Americans - and enjoying the benefits!
